Will a Reverse Polarity Connection of DC Power to the DL750 Damage the Unit?

Making a reverse polarity connection of DC power to the DL750 with the DC power supply option will not damage the unit. The DL750 has a built-in protection circuit that will prevent damage to the unit in this situation. To recover from a reverse polarity connection, simply perform the following:
  1. Remove the reverse polarity connection from DL750
  2. Turn the DL750 OFF for 1 minute
  3. Connect the DC power to the DL750 with the correct polarity
  4. Power ON the DL750
  5. DL750 will recover and run self test and calibration
