When the software program starts, the front panel image of the connected DLM2000/DL9000 series or SB5000 appears on the monitor of your PC. You can control the DL9000 series from your PC with the mouse to simulate operations using the front panel keys of the instrument.


 
 
Xwirepuller enables the DLM2000 series, DL9000 series including MSO models and SB5000 to be controlled from your PC via the Ethernet, USB, or GP-IB interface.
When the software program starts, the front panel image of the connected the DLM2000/DL9000 series/SB5000 appears on the monitor of your PC. You can control the DL9000 series from your PC with the mouse to simulate operations using the front panel keys of the instrument.

  • Control DLM2000/DL9000 series/SB5000.
  • Display the screen image of DLM2000/DL9000 series and SB5000 on a PC.
  • Select the Control Window Size and display update rate.
  • Save the screen image data displayed on your PC in BMP or PNG format.

PC System Requirements

PC
PC capable of running Windows 2000 (SP4 or later), Windows XP (SP2 or later) or Windows Vista. Pentium4 (2 GHz) or faster processor and at least 1GB of memory required. (when the OS is Windows Vista)

The required OS varies as follows depending on the interface used.

1 When using the GP-IB interface, a GP-IB board by National Instruments or a PCMCIA card is required. However, operation of a PCMCIA-GPIB card under Windows XP is not supported.

2 A USB driver used to connect to the applicable DL instruments is required. For details of the USB driver, see the user's manual of relevant models.

Display

  • Display: SVGA/XGA (XGA or better recommended)
  • Color: 256 colors or more (65536 colors or more recommended)

Firmware Versions Required for Operation

  • DL9000 series: Ver. 1.64 or later

  • DL9000 series MSO models: Ver. 3.20 or later

  • SB5000: All firmware versions

  • DLM2000 Series: Ver 1.08 or later
