What is Hi-Resolution Mode?

Solution:

High Resolution mode can be used to remove high frequency noise and increase vertical resolution. It achieves this by increasing the number of effective bits per data to 12-bits through digital and bandwidth filters. The algorithm it uses to achieve the 12-bits of vertical resolution is:

             Pre-Filter
Over-Sample Average Data-Thinning Filter

Please download and review the attached PDF for a comprehensive overview of vertical resolustion and high resolution mode for the DL series oscilloscopes.
