Is There any Dead Time Between Files When Recording Multiple Files From the SL1000?

Solution:

Depending on the mode, the dead time may range from 0 to 10ms approximately. The dead time for the different modes are listed below.
  • Free Run Mode: 0ms
  • Normal Mode without HDD recording: 10ms
  • Normal Mode with HDD recording: 10ms + HDD recording time
  • Single(N) Mode: 10ms

Another important concern is whether there is any data loss between multiple files, in which case the answer is no. The SL1000 allocates enough internal memory to buffer incoming data for save operations and therefore, data is not lost.
