What are the Differences Between Unbalanced, Balanced, Isolated and Differential Input?

Unbalanced, non-isolated inputs are single-ended amplifiers. These inputs are suitable for measurements where common mode voltages are extremely small or zero and measurements are referenced to GND.
Unbalanced, isolated inputs are single-ended, floating common amplifiers. These inputs are suitable for off-ground measurements up to the breakdown voltage of the isolation barrier. The common noise rejection ratio is modest at low frequencies.
Balanced, differential inputs are non-isolated and exhibit the best common noise rejection ratio at low and high frequencies.
