DEVELOPMENT AND EVALUATION OF LINEAR MOTORS
Measuring the performance of a linear motor (with an operating rate of less than one cycle per second) is traditionally a cumbersome process that requires a power meter, a digital oscilloscope, and a manual table of values:
- Use a digital oscilloscope to measure speed and torque mechanical output
- Use a power meter to measure values of torque at specific speeds
- Create a T-N(Torque-speed) characteristics table from above data
- Analog out put -- F/V-converted pulse signals from digitized encoder embedded in the motor driver.
- Torque signals (analog output) from an accelerometer mounted on the linear motor driver.
- Three-phase PWM waveform from the driver

- Synchronized measurement of motor rotation, torque and power from motor driver
- High-speed sampling to achieve sufficient time resolution in a short period of time
- Noise-resistance and high repeatability
- The measurement value is reliable because it calculates power parameters synchronized with the acquired waveform data.
- Simultaneous measurement of impressed power and mechanical output is available by using a power input module and a sensor input module. The PZ4000 can easily perform a total evaluation of the motor.
