The SL1400 ScopeCorder LITE is a plug-in module type chart recorder with a large built-in A4 sized high resolution thermal printer. It provides more simplified and intuitive, easy-to-use operational functions.

When performing on-site measurements, you can print out the data and hand-write memos on the paper. Since the SL1400 simultaneously stores data to internal memory while printing, you can keep electronic and hard copy records with just a single action. (Remember that with thermal-sensible paper, it is vital to make photocopies for longterm preservation.) The SL1400 allows you to export results to files in PDF format, making it easy to save data for long periods of time, transfer the data to distant locations, or load them onto a PC. It is also easy to create reports since waveform data can be converted to an A4-size layout. Color PDF Output

Memory Backup Function

Sl1400 08 This function backs up about 150 hours of data saved to the acquisition memory immediately prior to power loss. Memory backup helps you avoid losing important data even if the power supply is unstable and gets cut off. (Backup time varies according to the usage environment. Four AA batteries are required for memory backup.)


 

 


Web Server Functions

Connect the SL1400 to your PC through the Ethernet connection. This allows for easy remote operation using Internet Explorer.

Having a wide range of triggers is of course very useful for obtaining the desired waveforms. In addition, the GUI menu makes setting trigger conditions easy and intuitive.

Sl1400 11 This function comes standard with the SL1400 and enable triggering on power supply waveforms. In addition to traditional power supply troubles, such as sudden outages, sags, and surges, you can make efficient real time observations of frequency fluctuations and voltage drops. This trigger activates when a signal exceeds the allowable values determined by comparing a defined waveform (wave window) with an actual waveform in real time.

Comparative waveforms can be automatically produced in real time based on measured waveforms. Detection on all 16 analog channels is available (with OR conditions).

Action-On Trigger (Automatically save measured data)

When this trigger is activated, the SL1400 performs a specified action each time a waveform is captured and displayed on the screen. This feature is useful for saving data automatically and reliably (e.g., for data collection in automated, continuous tests).

Manual Trigger (A trigger can be activated with press of a button)

You can also access the SL1400 using Internet Explorer. Same as with RS232 and GB-IB, you can write your own custom programs in Visual C++ 6.0 or Visual Basic 6.0 and control the SL1400 through an Ethernet interface.

I love this DL-750 scopecorder. The technicians here call it "my mistress". This is the single most powerful general purpose piece of test equipment I have ever seen. It found in one day a problem we lived with for 13 years, and paid for itself in one day. This machine excells at finding glitch events involving mixed signal types, such as relay logic, high and low voltage AC and DC signals, AC or DC current signals, and 4-20 ma process controls. With 16 channels you can see a lot of data in one test. We also used this to investigate an electrical fire incident and found a very obscure design flaw, again in one day. We used the VGA output and a projector unit for a wall size view in a conf room and could step thru the circuit events a millisecond at a time, with 100% understanding of what was happening during a complex Y/Delta motor start sequence. This also found boiler trip problems where the event was so fast the flame safeguard computer was giving the wrong first out indication. The DL750 nailed the problem first time. I think this tool has gotten me two promotions in pay grade. It takes some time to learn, so don't expect to rent one and fix the world in two days. Buy it and learn it. Our DL750 was so useful and employed so much that the boss suggested I buy a second one. How often does that happen? Our second one, a DL750P named "The Terminator" is even better than the DL750. The DL750 is fabulous. We have been using the unit to monitor AC line, investigate Instantaneous Stop conditions and to test live boards. It is safe and easy to operate (if you read the manual or receive technical service assistance). I truly recommend the unit to anyone that is involved in some kind of signal monitoring activity...it is great! I have only used 40% of its capacity more or less, but I am looking forward to squeeze every dollar we invested on it. I rate the unit at # 4 level because I am not familiar with other oscilloscopes similar to the DL750. Thanks.

This is a powerful troubleshooting tool. It took me a couple of days to figure it out, but it really is versatile and capable of monitoring signals from instrument level all the way up to 480VAC. We have already used it to monitor & trend motor currents & frequency on our new production line. We were having troubles with the motor drive tripping, and we found out that the design speed/frequency for the application was estimated wrong from the beginning. We adjusted base frequencies for the product and it is running good now.


I have used similar laptop based equipment in the past, which had lots of interface parts & was not very reliable. This thing has everything rolled into one box, and is much more reliable and versatile.
