How Does the Logic Section of the Symbol Editor Work?

Edit Symbol Text for Oscilloscopes

See Yokogawa Symbol Editor online software download page for the complete Instruction Manual

The symbol editor for the DL9000/SB5000/DLM2000 instruments has two operating modes: CAN and LOGIC.  The CAN bus symbol definition allows symbolic decode for CAN bus packets.

The logic symbol display, on the other hand, translates a parallel set of bits into a symbol.  It is essentially like BUNDLE, except changing the hex/bin value into a symbol.

The message name(ex. 'READ') defined by the symbol editor is shown at the decode display area instead of hex or binary one as shown as the white circle in the attached image file. It is impossible to convert a serial pattern on a single channel or logic bit to a symbol.
