720245 CAN Bus + LIN Monitor Module

The Yokogawa 720245 is a dual-port CAN FD and LIN monitor module designed for high-speed, flexible analysis of modern vehicle communication networks. Supporting ISO-compliant CAN FD, classic CAN, LIN, extended multiplexing, and J1939, it provides scalable decoding across up to 120 total sub-channels. With wide input voltage tolerance and 42 V rated isolation, the module offers safe, reliable bus monitoring for automotive and industrial applications.

  • Dual-Protocol Automotive Bus Monitoring: The 720245 enables decoding of CAN FD or LIN bus signals and displays physical parameters such as engine temperature, vehicle speed, and brake-pedal position as analog waveforms.
  • High-Capacity Signal Monitoring: Up to 120 signals can be monitored simultaneously, with 60 subchannels available per port.
  • Advanced Automotive Protocol Support: The module supports CAN, CAN FD (ISO and non-ISO), LIN, SAE J1939, multiplexing, and extended multiplexor operation up to the second byte. PGN setting values for SAE J1939 can be selected and displayed.
  • Seamless Integration with Vehicle Definition Files: Existing CAN and LIN network definition files can be imported using the free SymbolEditor software, simplifying setup for established automotive platforms.
