This AC/DC split core current sensor is designed for measuring large DC and AC currents in applications such as electric vehicles, renewable energy systems, inverters, and motors. It facilitates high-current measurements by clamping around existing current connections. With its voltage output, this sensor is compatible with power analyzers (WT series and PX8000) and waveform measurement instruments (ScopeCorders and DLM series), making it a versatile tool for various high-current measurements.
This split core current sensor offers superior noise immunity, providing stable measurement of large currents over a wide bandwidth.

When using a current sensor, the conductor's position can impact measurement accuracy. This effect can be minimized by securing the cable in the center of the sensor's feed-through hole. A 30 mm diameter jig is included as a standard accessory with the CT1000S to secure the conductor's position. This accessory stabilizes the target cable, reducing measurement variations and ensuring high-accuracy current measurements regardless of the cable diameter.
The CT1000S features six M4 screw holes on the main body for mounting. By preventing sensor misalignment and maintaining consistent measurement conditions, this improves measurement repeatability.
