Calibrators

Maintain optimal equipment performance in harsh environments with Yokogawa’s high accuracy calibrators.

What is a calibrator used for? Calibrators are used to validate and adjust the accuracy of field instrumentation, which can deteriorate over time due to harsh environmental or process conditions, leading to plant shutdowns and thus opportunity costs, or personnel injury. The calibrator and control ensure that instruments are performing reliably and accurately by sourcing and measuring precision signals. Yokogawa offers an extensive portfolio of handheld calibration equipment, including process multimeters, pressure calibrators, and multifunction process calibrators. Yokogawa's process calibrators are trusted for their:

Adaptability

  • Calibrate anything from data loggers, temperature controllers, thermometers, multimeters, and pressure transmitters
  • Source and measure voltage, current, resistance, temperature, pressure, pulse and frequency
  • Ergonomic interfaces engineered to work with Yokogawa as well as third party products
  • A host of functions for verifying equipment response including output ramping, output stepping, and loop power (simultaneously stimulate a device and measure its response)

Minimal Training

  • Quickly and efficiently get your plant personnel and contractors up to speed so they can focus more time on their tasks
  • Intuitive controls allow users to quickly store setup files, save data to internal memory, and alternate between sourcing and measuring

Durability

  • Rugged design ensures units can withstand harsh environments
  • Calibrators conform to IP54, EN61010-1 CATIV600V and CATIII1000V safety design, EMC EN 61326 Class B, EN 55011 Class B Group1 EN 61000-3-2; EN 61000-3-3, EN61326

The CA500 and CA550 are high-performance, multi-function calibrators designed for use in multiple applications. Featuring useful functions for field work, these multi-function calibrators help you calibrate field instruments with improved source and measurement accuracy.

    Overview:

FieldMate is PC and tablet based software for adjusting, setting and managing devices. It systematizes a series of work from field calibration of a pressure / differential pressure transmitter to report generation in combination with the Pressure Calibrator CA700. They achieve speedy, highly efficient field calibration by offering calculation of relative error, pass/fail determination and report generation as well as automatic recording of device information and calibration data. Recorded calibration data can be registered in FieldMate' s database (device maintenance information) along with other maintenance information. CA700 and FieldMate, "Smart Calibration" significantly reduce the man-hours for calibration.
