DUT-oriented test apps simplify the test process

The appplication mode (APP) transforms an OSA into a versatile machine dedicated to a device under test (DUT). APP mode provides a DUT-specific user interface that navigates the user from configuration settings to test result output without worrying with other OSA settings.

How to install the application

  1. Download the application from this website.
  2. First, copy the application installation files (.apl) to a USB memory device, or connect to the network.
    When installing from a USB device, make a folder with the name “INSTALL_APPS” in the root folder of the USB memory device, and store the installers in it.
  3. Press APP button of the optical spectrum analyzer*. The APP menu appears.
  4. Tap Install. The Install menu appears.
  5. Tap Install (USB) or Install (Network).
  6. Tap Continue. To cancel, tap No
  7. Tap Yes (Reboot). The instrument will restart, and the applications will be installed.
