For multi-fiber applications, the AQ7280 can be combined with the AQ3550 Optical Switch Box to enable automated testing of up to 12 fibers. With the /FST option and a compatible fiber inspection probe, the Fiber Surface Test Function automatically analyzes fiber end-face images and performs PASS/FAIL judgment based on IEC 61300-3-35 compliant or customized criteria.​
