The PX8000 brings together Yokogawa's world-leading expertise in power measurement with our long heritage in oscilloscope design to deliver a true test and measurement revolution: the world's first precision power scope. With the launch of the PX8000, R&D professionals need no longer compromise on their need for high-accuracy time-based power measurement, a need that conventional power analyzers and oscilloscopes were never designed to meet. The PX8000 delivers: Insight -- Precision power measurement gives true insights into energy consumption and performance. Confidence -- Proven, high-quality production means the PX8000 can be relied upon to deliver over extended periods of time. Familiarity -- Users experience a short learning curve thanks to features familiar to anyone who's used to power measurements or oscilloscopes.
The PX8000 is the world's first precision power scope, bringing oscilloscope-style time-based measurement to the world of power analyzers. With up to four channels, it can perform standard multi-phase power measurements. These measurements exist alongside oscilloscope-specific features such as cursor-based specific time period measurements to enable analysis of waveforms with transient components.
A Digital Power Analyzer is an instrument for research & development, design validation, and manufacturing test used to accurately measure electrical power characteristics.
Yokogawa is the world’s leading manufacturer of power analyzers, devices that measure electrical power characteristics of devices that generate, transform, or consume electricity. Also called power meters or wattmeters, these devices measure parameters such as true power (watts), power factor, harmonics and efficiency in inverters, motor drives, lighting, home appliances, office equipment, power supplies, industrial machinery and other devices. Power analyzers also enable engineers to minimize energy loss in power electronics such as inverters, motors, lighting circuits, and power supplies.
