Is There any Dead Time Between Files When Recording Multiple Files From the SL1000 High-Speed Data Acquisition Unit?

Depending on the mode, the dead time may range from 0 to 10ms approximately. The dead time for the different modes are listed below.
  • Free Run Mode: 0ms
  • Normal Mode without HDD recording: 10ms
  • Normal Mode with HDD recording: 10ms + HDD recording time
  • Single(N) Mode: 10ms 

Another important concern is whether there is any data loss between multiple files, in which case the answer is no. The SL1000 High-Speed Data Acquisition Unit allocates enough internal memory to buffer incoming data for save operations and therefore, data is not lost.
