Yokogawa's new WTViewerE software provides PC connectivity for the company's industry-leading power analysers - including the WT3000E, WT1800E, WT500 and WT300E models - via Ethernet, USB, GPIB or RS232 interfaces. This connectivity allows users to easily control, monitor, collect and analyse measurement data, and save measurements remotely.
WTViewerE enables synchronised measurement of up to four WT units. The software automatically detects connected units and displays a list. Users can then view and change measurement conditions such as wiring system, voltage and current range, update interval, synchronisation source and display format.
The software supports split-screen displays for multichannel power measurements, allowing users to customise their analysis procedures. WTViewerE can simultaneously display up to 12 waveforms, eight trends, eight vectors and six harmonic bar graphs. Users can also save and load screen layouts.Â
With WTViewerE, users can use cursors to zoom in on specific areas of interest to show more detail on numerical, harmonic and waveform information, as well as specifying the necessary data to be saved in CSV format.Â
In the online mode, users have real-time control of measurements from each connected unit. Users can start or stop integration and remotely monitor and collect live measurement values. In offline mode users can analyse the latest acquired or previously stored data.
