How do I Recover From a DL850 ScopeCorder Firmware Upgrade Failure?
If during the DL850/DL850 ScopeCorder firmware upgrade process, the display screen turns black, blue, or something in between and the installation failed, please complete the following steps. You will need a USB printer cable to complete the recovery process.
- Download the file
http://support.us.yokogawa.com/downloads/TMI/HFI/DL850/DL850_Recovery_to_110_via_USB_Cable.zip - Contact Yokogawa Technical Support with the unit's serial number and for zipped file password
- Unzip all files to a folder destination
- Connect the DL850 to PC with a USB printer cable
- Install the USB driver onto your PC
- Power DL850 OFF
- While holding the F2 soft key, power DL850 ON
- Wait for at least 15 seconds
- Double click the Update850.BAT file
- Follow on-screen prompts
- When binary upload to DL850 is complete, cycle the power
- Power DL850 ON
- Allow firmware installation to complete
