PX8000 measures various parameters of impedance (Inductance), phase angle and (power) loss from high-frequency signals impressed on magnetic components, and displays such parameters.
Measurement of loss of the transformer
PX8000 with 4 input modules measures loss of primary and secondary output of the transformer.
Measurement of Inductance characteristics including DC current
Characteristic measurements, including DC current and inductance is measured by impressing a distorted AC signal of several tens to several hundreds kHz with changing DC current. PX8000 can measure both the high frequency distorted waveform and the DC.
The PX8000 is the world's first precision power scope, bringing oscilloscope-style time-based measurement to the world of power analyzers. With up to four channels, it can perform standard multi-phase power measurements. These measurements exist alongside oscilloscope-specific features such as cursor-based specific time period measurements to enable analysis of waveforms with transient components.
The PZ4000 is designed for High Frequency Power Measurements as well as Transient Power Measurements. Its real-time acquisition system can perform cycle-by-cycle power measurements. One to Four input elements offer Basic Power Accuracy of 0.2% with 2 MHz Bandwidth and 5MS/sec digitizing rates.
