This page contains videos 4-12 of the Yokogawa Test&Measurement DL950 ScopeCorder training module series. These videos review the many application-based features available on the instrument including power analysis, harmonic analysis, power fail detect, and more.
Part 4 of 37-video training series. This video gives an overview of the Yokogawa Test&Measurement ScopeCorder application menu. The application menu is a feature that walks you through all the relevant settings and measurement conditions for some of the most common applications the DL950 is used for. The applications currently available are power analysis, harmonic analysis, rotatory angle, GPS position, dual capture, power fail detect, strain gauge, and easy recording.
Part 5 of 37-video training series. This video walks through the Yokogawa Test&Measurement DL950 ScopeCorder power analysis application for measuring the voltage, current, power, and more of up to two single- or three-phase systems.
Part 6 of 37-video training series This video walks through the harmonic analysis application. The Yokogawa Test&Measurement DL950 ScopeCorder analyzes the harmonics of rms voltage or current and active power.
Part 7 of 37-video training series. This video walks through the rotary angle feature on the Yokogawa Test&Measurement DL950 ScopeCorder application menu. This can be used to calculate the angle of rotation or the displacement of an encoder.
Part 8 of 37-video series. This video walks through the GPS setup on the application menu. You can connect a GPS unit to the Yokogawa Test&Measurement DL950 ScopeCorder to obtain position information such as latitude, longitude, velocity, and direction.
Part 9 of 37-video series. This video walks through the dual capture feature on the application menu of the DL950 ScopeCorder from Yokogawa Test&Measurement. Dual capture lets you record the same input signal at two different sampling rates. This is useful for monitoring and recording long term trends at low speed, but also being able to capture the transient phenomena at a high-speed sampling rate.
Part 10 of 37-video series. This video walks through the power failure detection function on the Yokogawa Test&Measurement DL950 ScopeCorder application menu. This function utilizes a wave window trigger and creates real-time templates using a number of cycles directly preceding the current waveforms. The DL950 compares the current waveforms to the real-time templates and triggers if one of the current waveforms falls outside of its real-time template.
Part 11 of 37-video series. This video walks through strain gauge setup on the application menu of the Yokogawa Test&Measurement DL950 ScopeCorder.
Part 12 of 37-video series. This video walks through easy recording on the application menu of the Yokogawa Test&Measurement DL950 ScopeCorder. Because the DL950 is a hybrid instrument that combines the capabilities of an oscilloscope and a portable data acquisition recorder, it has an oscilloscope mode and a recorder mode. Recorder mode is used to set the time axis using the measurement time and sampling interval. This is the typical time scale setting method for recorders.
The Yokogawa Test&Measurement DL950 ScopeCorder captures and analyzes a wide variety of electrical, physical sensor signals, and serial buses. It offers a unique combination of high sampling rates, for a detailed view and long recording times to monitor trends over time.
