How Does the AQ6373 Perform the Color Analysis Function?

The AQ6373 optical spectrum analyzer performs the color analysis function as follows:

1. Measure the spectrum
2. Compare the measured spectrum with “color matching functions”  as defined by the CIE
Using these functions, the values for X, Y, Z are calculated.
