701270 Strain Input Module (NDIS)
The 701270 Strain Module, type NDIS (2 channels) is to be used in combination with 701955 or 701956 NDIS bridge head. The strain module is applicable to DL350, DL850 series, DL950 and SL1000. It supports strain NDIS, 2,5, 10 V built-in bridge power supply and has electronic auto balance.
Using the strain module and strain gauge, the ScopeCorder can detect and display mechanical stress (strain) determine structural durability (elasticity). It works on the principle that the resistance value of a metal foil changes as it expands and contracts.
What is an Input/Output Module
A strain gauge type sensor uses a built-in strain gauge to measure stresses that occur with changes in various physical quantities (load, pressure, displacement, vibration, torque, etc.). It then converts those to the original physical quantities and outputs them.
Analog Input Module
Analog input for modules includes analog voltage, voltage and temperature, or voltage and acceleration.
Digital Input Module
Data can be specified in digital codes (hexadecimal or numeric), but can also be loaded from each network definition file (CAN DBC or LIN LDF).
