How do I Resolve the Warning Error 142 at Wavelength Calibration on AQ6319 Optical Spectrum Analyzer?

Warning Error 142 at Wavelength Calibration on AQ6319 Optical Spectrum Analyzer

The warning "142 WL calibration failed" is displayed when a level of light source is not enough at wavelength calibration or calibration cannot be executed because wavelength difference is out of calibration range.

There are three suggestions listed below.

  1. Please clean the connected fiber cable or exchange the cable for another
  2. Please initialize the alignment adjustment value and wavelength calibration value
  3. Please initialize the current parameter setting value, data, alignment adjustment value, and wavelength calibration value

After restarting, please try the wavelength calibration again.

  1. Press [SYSTEM] and <PARAMETER INITIALIZE> key
  2. Select ALL CLEAR
  3. Select EXCECUTE
  4. Please confirm output level of standard light source (CW, around -22 dBm) by optical power meter
