How do I scale a probe to a custom attenuation not pre-set on the scope?

To scale a probe to an attention not predefined on the scope, use the Linear Scaling feature (AX+B formual)

Example: How do I scale a 0.2mV per A current probe?

0.2mV per A = 1V per 5kA BUT 1V:5000A is not an option on the scope. set the probe attention setting on 1V:1A, then use the Linear Scaling to set the A value to 5000. This will scale the signal appropriately.
