We have confirmed this issue: if a .SOR file without event detection loaded, an error message will be displayed.
One can also load the .SOR file by using the “Yes” button within the EXFO program to avoid the error message or simply use a file containing events.
It seems this is an issue when using the above EXFO software with .SOR files from other OTDRs without any events so it is not unique to the AQ1000 alone.
