How to connect a AQ6370 via ethernet?

First make sure that the instrument is set to the correct mode by following SYSTEM, MORE 2/4, NETWORK SETTING, REMOTE INTERFACE. The correct mode can be selected from the Remote Interface menu. If using socket connection, user authentication needs to be performed. This procedure is found on pg. 3-7 of the remote control user's manual under section 3.2: Setting Up Ethernet. (section heading: Commands that are Necessary for Remote Control over the LAN) If using VXI-11, user authentication does not need to be performed.
