We are using PCMS tool to read power measurement, it’s all right to use on a Win7 PC but when we setup it on Win 10 Pro, it doesn’t work. Device Manager is able to recognize Yokogawa USB device, but PCMS tool cannot find USB device. The USB driver we used is version 1.0.3.9, does it support Win 10 Pro?
1039 is for Windows XP, Windows Vista(32/64-bit), Windows 7(32/64-bit), Windows 8(32/64-bit), Windows 10(32/64-bit); Click on DEVICE MANAGER and locate the device there and see what driver is ‘actually’ installed; send me a screenshot of that please; this is the most likely issue – the driver may be something that Windows found but not the correct Yokogawa driver; Is KeySight's(Agilent) IO library installed? In yes, Yokogawa's USB driver will not work. Uninstall the IO library and check it. Make sure of PCMS version number; it should be 4.2.3 from last Fall (2016); Solution: If a customer install the "IO libraries", you can not connect via USB communication. The problem is only USB communication. Please consider "GPIB" communication or "LAN" communication for connection with the "WT310E".
For use with WT5000, WT3000, WT3000E, WT1800, WT210, WT310 and WT310E. Conforms to IEC62301 Ed2.0(2011) and EN 50564:2011 testing methods.
Measure characteristics of devices that generate, transform or consume electricity. Also called power meters or wattmeters, these devices measure parameters such as true power (watts), power factor, harmonics, and efficiency.
Yokogawa's Power Analyzer software manages numeric, waveform, and harmonic data measurements. It enables data logging and instrument configuration from your computer.
