WT5000 Precision Power Analyzer Error Due to Heating Typo:
WT5000 Precision Power Analyzer The specifications for the WT5000 30A element states a self heating influence for DC current is (0.00002*I^2)% Rdg + (3*I^2)mA. At 20 Amps that would be a floor value of 1.2A (3*20^2=1200mA). WT3000 Precision Power Analyzer On the WT3000 Precision Power Analyzer is (3*I^2)uA which is 1.2 mA and is a lot more reasonable. Is this a typo in the specifications? Answer: This is a typo. mA is wrong, uA is correct. The document will be corrected in a future revision.
Measure characteristics of devices that generate, transform or consume electricity. Also called power meters or wattmeters, these devices measure parameters such as true power (watts), power factor, harmonics, and efficiency.
