The ITZ series are high-accuracy AC/DC current transducers from LEM that use closed-loop fluxgate technology to support precision power measurement in high-current test applications. Designed for nominal current classes of 2000 A and 5000 A, they combine very low offset, excellent linearity, and wide bandwidth to deliver stable, repeatable results at 50/60 Hz as well as under dynamic load conditions.
The ITZ 2000-S and ITZ 5000-S are high-accuracy, closed-loop (zero-flux) AC/DC current transducers designed for precision power measurement in very high-current test environments. Based on fluxgate compensation technology, they deliver excellent linearity, extremely low electrical offset, and high long-term stability, enabling accurate DC and wide-bandwidth AC current measurements in applications such as power electronics validation, traction systems, and large inverter or generator testing.
The ITZ architecture separates the sensing head from the electronics, reducing thermal influence and improving measurement stability under high continuous currents. A robust mechanical design and careful EMC optimization support reliable operation in electrically noisy environments, while large apertures allow direct measurement of busbars or high-current cables without breaking the circuit. With nominal current classes of 2000 A and 5000 A, wide bandwidth suitable for dynamic measurements.
