When I load a .SET file, I noticed that my PP COMPRESSION setting for WDF File Compression is disabled, why?
This is an intentional design. The settings for the saved data history (One / All) are not saved in the setting file, and the settings for P-P compression (ON / OFF) are not saved in the setting file.
You could leave it OFF and save large files and do the PP Compression as post-process within Xviewer.
Another suggestion to do the PP compression:
1. Turn ON ENVELOPE Mode
2. Then set chassis sample-rate to the one low-rate that you want
3. (these settings will save in the SET file)
ENVELOPE mode runs the module at full-speed, and uses PP COMPRESSION to discard the points to achieve the new sample-rate (low) that you want.
