PX8000 Dead Time

The dead time of oscilloscope depends on the acquisition, display and measurement condition. We can estimate effective dead time = trigger interval – display window time The history list is used to get approximate trigger interval as below.

For example,

5Mp, Measure of waveform parameter on  

Eeffective dead time = 2.38s – 0.05s = 2.33s

 

100kp, Measure of waveform parameter off  

Effective dead time = 0.70s – 0.05s = 0.65s
