How do I Programatically Determine the Start and End Point of the Zoom Box for the DL850?

To determine the start and end point of the zoom box, issue the following commands:
  • :WAVEFORM:START
  • :WAVEFORM:END
  • :ZOOM:POSITION?
  • :ZOOM:MAG?
  • :ZOOM:POSITION1?
  • :ZOOM:MAG1?
  • :WAVEFORM:LENGTH?

You can then calculate the zoom start and end points by using the following equations:

  • Zoom Start = [Wave Length * (5 + Zoom Position) / 10 div - (Wave Length/Zoom Mag)] /2
  • Zoom End = Zoom Start + Wave Length / Zoom Mag
