What is a Probe?

A probe is a device that takes and relays measurements.

Types of Probes

  • Differential probes- active analog voltage probe types including switch probes, available for high-speed and high-voltage needs.
  • Logic probes- monitor signals temperature probes, either isolated or non-isolated (compare to multimeter probes).
  • Active probes- analog voltage probe types, including differential and single-ended.
  • Passive probes- analog voltage probe types, available in general-purpose, high voltage, and low capacitance needs.
