WE7000 Control Software for Windows Vista/ Windows 7
WE7000 Control Software for Windows Vista/ Windows 7
Description
These software are for making your WE7000 control software into the latest version.
Please install the wecnt5240VistaUS (WE7000 control softeware) first.
Please install the wecnt5244US (upgade kit) after it.
Cautions before Downloading
Depending on the program, some file sizes are large and can take a long time to download.
When completing the download, the zip file includes setup.exe. Double-click the icon for the.exe file to start the installation.
After installation, choose Help > About and confirm that the correct version has been installed (for the control software).
System Requirements
Install the WE7000 Control Software which comes standard with the measuring station) onto your PC, then use the software to control the measuring station and carry out a wide variety of measurements.
The system requirements for this software are as follows. Make sure that the PC's specifications, peripherals and I/O slots are suitable for the WE7000.

OS
Microsoft WindowsXP(32bit)/Windows Vista(32bit)/Windows 7(32bit)
CPU
1 GHz or faster
To use the WE7035/WE7036 optical interface card, the PC must have a high-profile PCI bus expansion slot.
Internal Memory
1 GB or more
Hard Disk
The hard disk must have 15 GB or more of free space.
Drives
A CD-ROM drive is necessary to set up the WE7000 Control Software.Mouse or Pointing Device
Must be Windows XP/Windows Vista/Windows 7 compatible
Display

Communication Interface Card
A Windows XP/Windows Vista/Windows 7 compatible Ethernet port is necessary to connect to an Ethernet network (10BASE-T/100BASE-TX).
To communicate through optical fiber cable, a Yokogawa WE7035/WE7036 optical interface card (707035/707036) must be installed.
USB
Must be Windows XP/Windows Vista/Windows 7 compatible
Printer
The printer driver must be Windows XP/Windows Vista/Windows 7 compatible.
Notes
The system requirements listed above are for a measuring station installed with two modules. Please be aware that the requirements for CPU and memory differ depending on the number and type of modules, and the sampling frequency.

Ready to Run Control Software
Just double-click the Windows desktop icon for the WE7000 and control software will open and run. The software will recognize which modules are installed in the base station in a plug and play style. Within the control software, a setup panel for each module is available as well as a data viewer. The base station power can also be remotely turned on or off using the control software.
Control Everything from Viewer
While in the Data Viewer, you have complete control of your data acquisition. You can access the module setup (range, sampling speed, record length…), linear scaling, acquisition start/stop, trigger setup and many other parameters.
Saving Acquisition Data
The WE7000 will allow you to save data as a file in your specified media at every trigger. However, the most important thing is saving data to a file in real-time for continuous data acquisition. The WE7000 will accept various conditions to start and stop the creation of a file for continuous data acquisition.
During saving (creating) a file, the following indicator will show up to inform you of the status.
Bus Trigger, Arming and External Clock
Without any complicated software programming, the WE7000 base stations (WE400/WE800) are equipped with a bus for the input/output of two trigger signals(BUSTRG1 and BUSTRG2), and one time base signal (sampling clock, CMNCLK) to the I/O terminals on each of the modules and the base staion fron panel. They work simply by connecting each line to the modules, TRIGIN and EXT I/O within the Trigger Setup control panel.
The bus trigger signal is used to provide the timing in acquiring data. The CMNCLK (sampling clock) is used to provide the timing for the A/D sampling and the time for latching the digital signal. An arming signal is also provided so that multiple modules can start their measurement simultaneously. The bus trigger signal and CMNCLK signal are provided by the following sources:
Modules
Signal from external trigger input on the front panel (TRIGIN)
Signal from external input/output connecter on the front panel (EXT I/O)
Communication Module (Slot 0)
Manual Arming and Manual Trigger to generate those signals manually
Assorted Module Binding
In our data acquisition, we would like to measure or acquire data for several different types of inputs such as a voltage, temperature, load cell output, accelerometer output, or frequency. The WE7000 can bind several types of input modules to get one graph on the same time axis and one file for those various input signals.
Saving the Current Condition File
The WE7000 Control Software allows you to save the current condition (setup) of the WE7000 system in a single file (*.wes). This file can then be reloaded at any time. The WE7000 Control Software will start according to the contents of the file including sampling intervals, channel setups, position fo each viewer windows…
In the system configuration menu (shown at left), you can choose to turn on the base station power and automatically start the data acquisition process when a particular current condition (*.wes) file is opened and loaded.
Using the menu shown at right, you can also save the setup data for each module or base station individually. To save this setup data (*.set file), select the station or module in the Station List window by right clicking on the item, then select the Save Setup Data Option.
