How do I Achieve 1usec Resolution Timestamps on the DLM2000 Mixed Signal Oscilloscope History List?

The DLM2000 Mixed Signal Oscilloscope have a unique feature that will allow you to save the timestamps in the History List. Please verify or update the firmware version on your DLM2000 to version 1.81 or later.

There are two different save options you can use that will include the timestamp information. You can choose to save waveform data with timestamps information or the History List. The History List is the list of history waveform information - record number, trigger time, and the difference between the trigger times of the history waveform and its previous history waveform - in CSV format.

To save waveform data with timestamp information, follow the procedures listed below:
  1. Press the History key
  2. Press the Mode soft button and select All
  3. Press the File key
  4. Press the Waveform soft button
  5. Press the Data Type soft button and select ASCII with Timeinfo.
  6. Connect the flash memory
  7. Verify file name, save destination, trace source, range, and compression
  8. Press the Save Waveform soft button to execute save

To save the History List with timestamp information, follow the procedures listed below:

  1. Press the History key
  2. Press the Mode soft button and select All
  3. Press the File key
  4. Press the Others soft button
  5. Press the Data Type soft button
